A father and son died in a road accident on Friday near Domuhan in Risiap police station area on National Highway No. 139 in Aurangabad. The deceased have been identified as Sunil Prajapati and his son Sushil Kumar, residents of Babhansota village in Nabinagar police station area. It is said that the father had taken his son from home on a bike to receive the Pratibha Samman ceremony organized by a Hindi daily in the Nagar Bhawan of Aurangabad. After receiving the award, the father was returning home with his son on the bike. Meanwhile, a speeding truck hit the bike near Domuhan bridge on NH-139, due to which the father and son riding on the bike died on the spot.
He had gone to be honoured at a newspaper’s talent award ceremony
After the accident, the Hiva driver fled from the spot by driving the vehicle at a high speed. On receiving information about the accident, the police of Risiap police station reached the spot, took the body into custody and brought it to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital for postmortem and informed the family members about the accident. After being informed by the police, the family members who came to the postmortem house in Aurangabad told that Sunil had come to Aurangabad with his son Sushil on Friday morning. After getting his son honored in a newspaper’s Pratibha Samman ceremony in Aurangabad, he was returning home with his son on a bike; meanwhile this accident occurred on the way, in which father and son died.
There is mourning in the village
As soon as the news of the death of father and son in a road accident reached the village, there was mourning in the village. On receiving the news of the accident, Sunil’s wife Usha Devi and mother Premni Devi, who had come to Aurangabad, started crying bitterly on seeing the bodies. Usha was becoming unconscious while crying. When she was regaining consciousness, she was searching for her husband and son. Sunil’s mother was unable to understand that her son was no longer in this world. Seeing both of them crying, the people present on the spot also started crying. Both of them said while crying that their family has been destroyed. Now there are two children, the children’s mother and an old grandmother left in the family. Who will raise them now? The police have handed over both the bodies to the family after conducting the post-mortem. Along with this, they have taken initiative at their level and have assured to provide proper compensation.
